Speckled Trout Charters At Bayou Log Cabins Fishing Lodge

The best speckled trout fishing is now on the south side of Barataria Bay on the oyster reefs near the barrier islands. Now that we have put the last cool front behind us for the year it is time to start doing some serious speckled trout fishing. Bayou Log Cabins fishing lodge is located thirty five miles south of New Orleans Louisiana in the middle of a two hundred year old fishing village. One of the best locations to fish out of between Venice and Grand Isle. We have a full service marina and will be adding live shrimp to all that we offer. You can launch your boat stock up your live well with live shrimp and head out to Barataria Bay to box up some beautiful speckled trout. We also offer fishing charters if you want to leave your boat home and spend the day on the water with one of our licenses charter captains who know where the fish are and do all the work for you. We will pick you up from your log cabin on the water and with a thirty minuet boat ride you will find yourself in what we call the strike zone. Once we arrive at the oyster reefs near the barrier islands and we anchor down you will experience some the the finest fishing you could ever dream of. Your captain will keep up with you and your group taking speckled trout off you lines and baiting up with another live shrimp to do it again. Sometimes it is all your captain can do is to try to keep up with the group and believe me it is a lot of fun. You will see lots of wild live along the way in regards to marine life as well as plenty of Louisiana foul as you ride the bayous to and from the strike zone. I always say that catching speckled trout is a lot of fun, but the most important thing that will happen during the course of the day is that you will be building memories with who ever you may have on the fishing charter and that is something you will remember for the rest of your life. Your captain will take plenty of photo’s of your trip and we always e-mail them to you so you can have bragging rights when you tell your friends and family about your trip. Of course you captain will clean all the fish for you wash them, put them in zip lock bags and ice them down in your ice chest for the ride home.
