Bayou Log Cabins Fishing Lodge: Our fishing lodge is located 35 miles south of New Orleans in the middle of a 200 year old fishing village. We have four log cabins right on the waters of Lake Hermitage. Our fishing cabins come with all the conveniences of home. They have a full kitchen, queen size bed in the bed room, central air and heat, direct TV, swings picnic tables and BB pits under each cabin.
Speckled Trout And Red Fish Fishing Charters: Our speckled trout fishing charters start at 5:30 am in the morning and they last for five hours. Well other than the times we limit out the first two hours in the morning. That’s wright, some times we have one hundred speckled trout on ice in the box by 7:30 am. Our captains will pick you and your group up right in front of your log cabin and once everyone is settled down he will head south across Barataria Bay towards the barrier islands. Once on the south side of Barataria Bay you will most likely set up on one of the many oyster reefs close to one of the islands. You will be fishing with live shrimp this time of the year and the bite is normally fast and furious. Showing our customers how to read the water in regards to boat positioning is something we like to teach our clients because it’s not just a fishing trip to us, it is also an opportunity to bring you to the next level of being a better angler.
